Several years ago I was talking to Graham about the science of steel-making. I was fascinated by his description of how to make Damascus steel and infected by his enthusiasm for the craft, I asked him to make me a set of kitchen knives. After listening to my wishes, he guided me skilfully through the options and I selected a set of 5 knives made from Damascus steel with Indian rosewood handles.

Knowing it was too late for a Christmas present I contacted Graham to make one for his birthday.
Knowing which knife I wanted was difficult with so many to choose from, but Graham was very helpful in his recommendations, after finding out what the knife was to be used for. We decided on an all round chef’s knife that could be used for many tasks.
I chose the Damascus steel, again on Graham’s advice, for it’s attractiveness and long lasting qualities.
Graham came across as someone who certainly knows his craft and very professional, I felt confident that he would produce a first class product.
He kept in touch all the way through the process, which put me at ease and I had no doubt it would be completed in time.
I scored lots of brownie points with hubby, he was delighted with his own bespoke knife, he uses it all the time and shows it to everyone who visits! Plus if I need anything cutting or chopping he can’t wait to assist me.
