I couldn’t be more thrilled with the Chefs knife I made with Graham, it is hands down one of the best things I’ve done. It was an amazing two days of learning and making and I was upset to leave.
Being a hands on experience allowed me to personalise my knife to what I wanted, and I am absolutely in love with it and so is everyone else who sees it. I couldn’t be more thankful to Graham for helping me make the most beautiful knife I own and will cherish it forever.
I would hands down do it all over again. Graham was an amazing teacher and I have gained many new skills and a new passion to make more knives in the future. I have recommended him already to many people and I hope to join him again soon to make another knife.

Over 1 or 2 days explore the world of Bladesmithing and/or Knife Making. They can be consecutive or adhoc days (Tuesdays – Fridays only) to suit your diary.
Your journey will take you to your goal with some or all of the following modalities depending on your knife design. Blades can be from carbon or stainless steel. Cut the profile from sheet steel or forge a blank (carbon steel only for forging), prepare the blank, heat-treat it, grind it, polish it, fit bolsters and handle scales, sharpen and finish. You may also have time to make a leather sheath for your knife, all of which you will take home with you at the end of time with Graham.
The course runs either as 1-2-1 tuition or in small groups of 2 or 3. You have some freedom to design your own knife but you will need to keep your blade length to 5″ (125mm) maximum otherwise you will have to forgo some of the modules.
This course is open to anyone over 18 and includes all materials as well as refreshments and lunches.
